Creating your own project is massively important in today’s acting business. The best way to start working as an actor is to create your own work. Even professional actors will advise this.
A good example of this is the film ‘Good Will Hunting’, by Matt Damon and Ben Affleck. This film was their breakthrough. Create your own breakthrough with David Corbett’s guidance!
David will lead you through a series of improvisation exercises and then divide actors into 2 or 3 groups, according to story ideas that arise during brainstorming.
After choosing a project partner, David will assist to expand and create your story ideas, including characters and conflicts.
He will also assist in writing the finished script idea.
The finished script, may be performed as a play on the evening of the last class or filmed in the studio at Mulholland.

David Corbett is a professional actor and acting teacher. David studied acting at the Lee Strasberg Institute in New York. He has worked as an actor for 25 years, on stage, TV and film. In New York, London, Los Angeles and Amsterdam. He has studied different acting methods and techniques, improvisation, meditation, dance and movement. He has been a resident acting tutor at The Actors Centre in Covent Garden for 6 years, coaching screen acting and Strasberg Method.
